You know something's going to be good and powerful when you're still up at 11:40pm typing out a blog! For the month of February, typically remembered for Valentine's Day and Black History Month, I was really thinking on what was a topic I wanted to focus on this month. Of course, we'll get back to the Bible notes on Sunday's, and I've had other topics thought out already. Yet, it seemed that there was something else I was suppose to write about. Wouldn't you know it, God gave me the idea around February 1st: talk about love!

I know what you might be thinking: "Nat, that one seems obvious". Sure, I agree! HOWEVER, God didn't mean just for me to talk about it. He specifically wanted me to have a set of questions, and ask people in every single season: single, dating, engaged, married, so on! The questions aren't just cute 2-5 questions either, I've come up with 15 questions, and what's even beautiful is not only is there questions for everyone in their season, but because people dating, engaged, and married have been single in one point of their life, they have perspective on so many angles! I've texted/reached out to a few people already tonight, and there's more people on my list to message! I've already gotten 3 responses tonight, and YALL AREN'T READY FOR THESE MIC DROPS. I've read all of them, and MAN THEY'RE GOOD, LIKE GOOOOOOOOD GOOOOOOOOD.

BUT, before I start posting the blogs for each one, I figured I'd type this blog to prepare y'all! One of the quotes that's been engraved in my brain is "the will to prepare is more important than the will to win". Well, let's get prepared! Here are the 15 questions I have asked that you'll have the pleasure of reading the answers to!

  1. What season are you currently in? (Single, dating, engaged, married, so on)

  2. What’s one thing you did in your single season that benefited in your relationship now?

  3. What’s one thing you’re appreciative about your single season?

  4. To my singles, what’s something you’re currently doing in your season to prepare for marriage, if you desire to be married?

  5. What’s something you’ve learned during the dating season?

  6. What’s something you did while/doing currently in dating that you feel truly benefited you, in the range of respecting your own boundaries and beliefs to finding your significant other?

  7. To my engaged friends, what was something about your partner that revealed to you that they were the one?

  8. To my engaged friends, what are you doing now to prepare for that godly marriage that has been a game changer/helped big time?

  9. People say that marriage/relationships are hard work, would you mind sharing an example of the hard work, and where you saw the victory in that hard work?

  10. To my engaged and married friends, what’s one really sound wisdom you believe singles should know in their current season of singleness?

  11. To my engaged and married friends, what was something you wish you would have done in your single season? Even something more of, etc?

  12. To my married friends, how many years have y’all been married, and what is some lessons you’ve learned so far?

  13. How do you keep God in the center of your current relationship? What’s something that helps to keep God in the center?

  14. What’s one scripture God says about marriage and love that you cling to and apply?

  15. Let it out: what’s some tips, wisdoms, etc that you’d love to share that’s helped you big time?

As always, God knew what He was doing by having me talk on this topic, and involve friends and family! I'm so excited and blessed that I get to ask these questions, read, and share what has been shared with me! Y'all turn in now, cause every FRIDAY one of these blogs on love will be dropping! Let's get to loving!

Hey friend, I'm Nathalie! I'm 30 years young living life as a single Christian woman! My world consists of Jesus, my two fur babies Luka and Ruthie, my family, and best friends that are family! I'm sure just like you, I'm on a path of healing, learning, growing, and becoming the woman God has called me to be. Two things I've learned are strengths of mine (for the most part haha) is being vulnerable and writing. In a world where there's hurt, pain, and a lot happening, I pray this blog and these words bring comfort, love, happiness, a path to peace, and most importantly, finding Jesus!
